AITKEN Bonnet, ca. 1895 #jacket German fashion historyTypical hood from the late 19th century. Lined with silk on the inside. This label is printed on the silk in gold letters: Aitken, Son & Co, Broadway, Cor 18th St, New York. The hood is made of black velvet, which is gathered on the front. The edge of the hood is made of cream colored silk covered with lace. Sequins and steel beads complete the fanciful design. In very good condition. The decoration is not included.
