She did a series of dresses suited for the tango - she apparently was fascinated by Spain and this may have been made for a spanish aristocrat of the day

Classic loose cut through the top and an almost apron like panel on the front that gives it the suggestion of a peplum

The skirt is unlined and closes at the side with a metal zipper and a button at the waist

This gown is a work of art and has the resulting richness and decadence to show for it. A rich, heavy slubbed silk in a rich champagne color has been extensively detailed top to bottom.
