Tomás Esson: The GOAT Socks humor and a little darknessPublished on the occasion of the artist's first solo museum presentation at ICA Miami, Toms Esson: The GOAT surveys major series of work spanning his thirty year studio practice. This publication features contributions from scholars Erica James and Antonio Eligio, and an interview with the artist conducted by Gean Moreno, Director of the Knight Foundation Art + Research Center at ICA Miami. Toms Esson was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1963. He graduated
