Changeroom Wall controls the precinct produced cement fromTiled walls and bare fittings inside the washhouse changeroom at Elrington Colliery, near Abernethy in the Hunter Valley. The washhouse complex served the mine's workforce through its three decades of coal production, providing changing areas, handwash basins, and separate shower rooms. Elrington Colliery operated from 1930 until December 1962, when BHP closed it citing persistent operating losses. Part of the Elrington Colliery series.
