Evening in Juneau with a Full Moon Size:8"x10" over hills

I looked across the Gastineau Channel and noticed the low clouds on Douglas Island with the fresh snow from some rain which had fallen earlier in the day on the peaks

I noticed the shadow from the bridge to the bay below and stopped to photograph this scene as a boat emerged from under the bridge

The last stop I made was at Willis Case Golf Course in northwest Denver

Evening in Juneau with a Full Moon Size:8"x10" over hillsIf you have been to Juneau at all you know that it rains in this area of Alaska, yes it is a rainforest. So on an evening where there were clear skies I headed out to photograph, and on this evening I ran into the full moon rising over the mountains. I quickly looked for a foreground element to add for this image and found a pair of floatplanes out at the Juneau International Airport to help frame the image on this September evening.
